Slacker Returns!

Hello, Hello!

I've been slacking on this for sure! Maybe I'm the queen of starting projects that I never finish. That irks me though because it is quite possibly one of my biggest pet peeves in others. I figured I'd catch up...or at the very least, give you something to look at.

First, let me say, out of nowhere, I've been blindsided with a true obsession with CINNAMON! I can't get enough - I'm adding it to everything!

Second, for the foodblog thing to work out properly, I must get up the nerve to break out my point and shoot digital camera each time I want to capture food for you all. It's no bueno to use the iPhone camera, as you can see, photo quality = bad news! Note: the food tastes way better than the photos can ever suggest, at least until I've gotten into the practice of non habitual laziness and break out the other cam.

At any rate, let me share at least one meal that made my head spin in pleasure. I look forward to breakfast everyday at breakfast time. Here, I'll be more clear ... I look forward to the NEXT day's breakfast everyday at breakfast time. Usually, I start to prep and I get ideas for the following day and start getting excited. Lunch and dinner, I'm sorry to say that you've got some serious competition these days. Better pick it up a bit.

So, in a random Facebook ad, I clicked to receive a free package of this from Bear Naked! I was pleased!! Go gitcha some today!

Then, I created THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fage Total 0%, Bear Naked Banana Nut Cereal, Banana, CINNAMON

Folks, I'm not kidding when I tell you that was off the chiz-ain!!!!!! Wowzers! I pledge to you, I'll be more regular from now on. I've been creating some of the most wonderful dishes of love and wonder. I have to share with someone, might as well be with those that appreciate GOOD and GOOD FOR YA food just as much as I do!

I love me some cinnamon, but I'm also dousing everything in cayenne! WTH? Well, not cinnamon and cayenne together, but one or the other fo sho. :D

  2. You know, of course, I'm on the Cayenne bandwagon too. I've found that if it's not an acceptable place for cinnamon, it is surely an acceptable place for cayenne! Meals, two categories, either cayenne suitable or cinnamon suitable. That pretty much sums it up!
