TurkeyDay Success!!!

Thanksgiving 2009 was a huge hit!! I had a great Holiday. So much to be thankful for this year. MommaBear came in...it was grand! I'm obviously and always late posting, so without further adieu.

:) Started the Day Off Right :)

1 Pkg. Quaker Instant Oatmeal Plain
1/2 C. Libby's Pumpkin
1 T. Agave
1 T. Better'n PB
Shake-shake CINNAMON

This was the best way I could think of, when my eyes popped open, to start THANKSGIVING! It delivered and I got my pumpkin fill. I had some lunch at some point. It was nothing too festive or fantastic. Lean Pocket & Raisins as a snack. Got me through until it was time for dinner!

My THANKSGIVING

1 LightLife Smart Stuffer Chik'n Cordon Bleu
1 Sweet Potato w/ 1 T. Smart Balance Light w/ Flax & CINNAMON
1/2 C. Canned GBs
1 T. Ketchup

My dinner ROCKED. For dessert I had an unpictured, Banana Nut Vita Top. It was the best one I could think of to go with the day's theme. It might just be my favorite so far! So tasty!!!

I bet you are wondering what everyone ELSE had for Thanksgiving...you know, the ones who aren't Vegetarians and those that properly treated and indulged themselves. Well, as I didn't try any of this, I cannot say I enjoyed it, however I know it was good because I continuously put my nose up to each serving dish and pretended. Everyone around the table was stuffed and pleased, so I can only imagine the delight of my taste buds, had I partaken. I had some side motivation though - and we'll get to that in a moment.

Their THANKSGIVING

Ham
Deep Fried Turkey
Corn Casserole *OMG - REALLY?*
Honey Mustard
Gravy
Stuffing
Homemade Cranberry Sauce
GB Casserole
Mashed Taters
Yams
Hawaiian Rolls *My Fave-ugh*

My Pretty MommaBear & Aunt-Grandma Chris (the Chef) With All of the FOOD!

There's not enough blog to talk about the relation of Chris and I. She has been dubbed "Aunt-Grandma" and we'll leave it at that. Please note: For Chris's sake, she is neither my Aunt nor my Grandma....in blood relation, at least.

Anywhoo - Remember that "side motivation" I spoke about above? Did you all know Old Navy was open and having Gobblepallooza yesterday? Well, much to Mom's credit card dismay, it was! We can just say that Mom got her Christmas for the Cub OUT OF THE WAY! This is good because I realllly needed winter clothes and a jacket. I got tons of clothes! Like, 9 shirts, 3 pairs of jeans and a VERY SNAZZY jacket!! Soooo Happy!! I also go the cutest little slipper/shoe socks. They are made to look like a little bootie but a shoe. They have the sticky prints on the bottom so you don't go sliding and slipping around. And, that cute little strap over the top?! Ohhhh! I'm eatin' that up! FASHION, people! Warm, cozy, CUTE and CHEAP at $2.50 a pair!

That's ME in the PURPLE!

To share a few of the memories...
